Accreditation

This module is part of the Advanced Professional Technical Introduction to the Water Industry.

Each module is made up of two units, and all training days may be treated as standalone training courses or put together to make a more comprehensive package.

Module 1 – Water
Unit 1: Water Production + Unit 2: Water Networks

Module 2 – Wastewater
Unit 1: Wastewater Networks + Unit 2: Wastewater Treatment

Each training day can be accredited by an external awarding body, ProQual. To achieve certification, learners are required to demonstrate that they have retained and can apply the course content.

Assessment of the knowledge and skills gained during the course is carried out using an online Knowledge Assessment Tool (KAT®).

On completion of the Advanced Professional Technical Introduction to the Water Industry, learners may choose to progress to a range of registered qualifications to add greater detail and further develop their learning, for example:

  • ProQual Level 5 Award/Certificate in Understanding/Managing Water Production
  • ProQual Level 5 Award/Certificate in Understanding/Managing Water Networks
